Pastry Chef and owner Lalit is a professional with over 21 years of experience. Coming to Canada in 2016, Lalit was immediately enticed by the diversity and availability of all cultures, most of which were the myriad new flavours. His love for travel around the world has brought him to places such as England, Europe, Dubai and China and their unique pastry craft. Dabbling in the baking industry, now he decided that he wants to do something of his own!

‘Take THE Cake’ specializes in Cake, Cheesecakes, Cupcakes, Shortbreads, Breakfast Pastry, Pie and French Tarts. Every day with a rigorous precision, Lalit prepares a perfect dessert on daily bases. All of his creations are truly unique, and he regularly updates his range with seasonal influences to take advantage of what nature does best and use the freshest ingredients available.
